Game & Systems Designer
Designed and implemented a multitude of gameplay and metagame systems, using Relic proprietary game engine Essence Engine 5 via data editors and State Tree visual scripting. Also used Figma, Mural, Confluence, Draw.io, Photoshop and DevOps tools for many of the designed systems. I also worked on:
- Designing and implementing multiple combatants and abilities for both PvE and PvP modes.
- Writing comprehensive technical and functional documentation.
- Training fellow designers on gameplay and metagame systems I worked on.
- Onboarding multiple developers from a variety on different disciplines on the Company of Heroes product, giving them not only a detailed picture of the current iteration of the franchise, but also an overview of the almost twenty years franchise history.
Product Owner of different Pods (UX-UI, Metagame, Data, Live Operations)
Thanks to almost twenty years of experience on the Company of Heroes franchise and my consolidated experience as Project Manager, I am playing an invaluable role supporting the development team on the “path to redemption” of Company of Heroes 3. In my role as Product Owner I help setting multidisciplinary teams up for success:
- Product owner of UX, Metagame, Data, and Live Operations pods responsible for cross discipline communication, leadership, and work scheduling, applying a Servant Leadership style.
- One of the main point of contacts for everything related to Company of Heroes.
- Assist on a daily basis Senior Leadership with product decisions and vision to improve the game.
- Public speaking during official Livestreams to present new patches and features.
